Sophie Hutchings: Become the Sky

'Become the Sky' is an album from ARIA award-winning pianist and composer Sophie Hutchings. The album served as a musical travelogue of her adventures, challenges, and epiphanies in the famously unforgiving environment of the Australian landscape. For the album, Sophie wished to create what she affectionately dubs the 'Sleepy Sister' to her previous, more sonically layered album, 'A World Outside'. 'Become the Sky' is a collection of meditative, piano-led pieces ruminating change, travel, and returning home.
